Judith Halász studied at the Vienna Conservatory (diploma with distinction in 2002). In 2001 she was engaged as a member of the ensemble at the Vienna State Opera, where she sang roles such as Papagena, Woglinde, Najade, Karolka and others. Judith Halász has been a freelancer since 2003 and has sung at the Leipzig Opera, the Graz Opera, the Karlsruhe State Theater, the Theater an der Wien, the Baden City Theater, the Vienna Chamber Opera, at the Klosterneuburg Festival, the New Vienna Opera, at the Mozart Festival La Coruna and the Carinthian Summer. Concerts and festivals brought her to almost every continent. A CD production by the Naxos label followed in 2002, where she sang “Susanna” in “Le nozze di Figaro” (WA Mozart). In recent years there has been a close collaboration with Maestro Guido Mancusi, which has resulted in the world premiere of his hymn “Jesu redemtor omnium” in Budapest with the Dohnány Philharmonic, as well as a concert with the “Four Last Songs” by R. Strauss.
