Martina Hetzenauer

The Austrian Soprano singer Martina Hetzenauer studied at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz and Vienna. She gave her opera debut as Henne and Eichelhäher in Leo Janacek’s Opera „Das schlaue Füchslein“. Her repertoire includes among many others Maria in Robert Stolz’ „Die Rosen der Madonna“, Fremde Fürstin in A. Dvorak’s „Rusalka“, Gräfin Almaviva in Mozart’s „Le nozze di Figaro“.

She is award winner of the Hugo-Wolf-competition, of the international Heinrich Strecker Wienerlied- and Operetta competition, of the „Schubertwettbewerb“ in Dortmund and many more.

Martina Hetzenauer is solo singer at the Bachfestival in Graz, at the Junge Oper Austria. She already performed at the Schlosstheater in Schönbrunn, during the Kulturherbst Jennersdorf, at the Theater im Pfalzbau/Ludwigshafen, at the theatre in Heidelberg as well as at the Ljubljana Festival together with Charles Spencer. She is regularly performing in Vienna as well as at various locations in Austria and abroad.
