José Carreras

The Ambassade Orchestra Vienna had the honor of performing with the great tenor José Carreras, in Dubai, marking the commencement of a highly successful collaboration. This remarkable concert at the world’s largest horse and camel racetrack, “Nad Al Sheba,” paved the way for a series of concerts across the Arab world and the production of the CD “Mediterranean Passion / José Carreras and Ambassade Orchestra Vienna,” in partnership with the Music Agency Buchmann&Kaspar. Since then, the Ambassade Orchestra has performed with José Carreras at various events, including Christmas concerts at Vienna’s Stadthalle, concerts in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, and even his most recent (and likely fina)l concert in Austria, “A Life in Music,” held to a sold-out audience at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
