The band consists of four classical musicians who merge together with a bassist, a keyboardist and a drummer to Echobox. The seven instrumentalists are additionally supported by a singer and / or a Falco impersonator or other show acts.
Echobox is the perfect mix of a classical ensemble and a party band, in short three in one: On the one hand, the four classical musicians play classical background music mostly string quartets and Divertimenti, during a reception or during dinner. On the other hand, the repertoire includes party and dance music which is covered by the band musicians. The fusion of the musicians culminates in an impressive cross over set, during which all musicians stand together on stage and perform newly arranged classical pieces as well as modern chart hits.
The musicians present new and self-made arrangements of well-known classical highlights such as W.A. Mozart’s “G minor Symphony” and world-famous pop numbers such as Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You”. In addition, each evening can culminate in a brilliant “Falco show” with the world’s only Falco impersonator authorized by Falco’s mother. The artist performs in Falco’s famous red uniform jacket and entertains the audience with an authentic version of the most famous songs of Austria’s exceptional artist, including “Der Kommissar” and “Rock me Amadeus”.
